Tansy Herbal Ointment

Tansy is a plant species from the composite family (Asteraceae). It is also known as bitter buttons, cow bitter or golden buttons. Hildegard von Bingen already mentioned tansy herb in her writings. She used it externally as an ointment for joint complaints or gout. Cera lanae, combined with jojoba oil and almond oil, serves as the ointment base.
