Description
Pu Erh Tea
Puh Erh is a type of tea produced in the southern Chinese province of Yunnan from leaves of the Assam version of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis var. Assamica L.). The infusion produces a dark, reddish-brown tea with an earthy, spicy taste. Due to its fermentation, Pu Erh tea has been used for centuries to harmonize the gastrointestinal tract. In Asia, Pu Erh tea is also a popular drink to support diets.
