Olive oil is well known in Mediterranean cuisine and enjoys a good reputation as a fine ingredient for salads, vegetable dishes and marinades. However, it is also ideal as a base for customised preparations such as ointments and creams. The oil is easy to process, absorbs well into the skin and unfolds its special properties there. Our natural olive oil is obtained by cold pressing of fully riped olives. It contains a high proportion of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids and also provides vitamin E, carotenoids such as provitamin A and valuable plant compounds such as oleocanthal and oleuropein. Gentle processing ensures that the flavour and nutrients are preserved in the best possible way.
