Description
Japanese Mint Spray
Japanese mint, also known as field mint, gives off an intense menthol scent when the leaves are crushed, similar to peppermint. An essential oil containing approx. 80% menthol is extracted from the flowering herb by steam distillation. Menthol is used in medicine both internally for the digestive tract and respiratory tract, and externally for rubbing into muscles, nerves and in nasal ointments.
