Iron is an essential trace element. Its key role in oxygen transport is widely known. Glycine protects the iron in the intestine and ensures increased bioavailability and improved tolerability. Vitamin C stabilizes the complex and prevents divalent iron from oxidizing into trivalent iron, ensuring optimal absorption.
