Lady’s mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris L.) belongs to the rose family (Rosaceae). Its name comes from the dewdrops that are found in the middle of the leaves of the plant every morning, which are used in naturopathy for various women’s complaints. Use is mainly the herb of the plant, for diarrhea, women’s complaints such as excessive and painful menstruation, but also for night sweats and insomnia. The main ingredients include tannins, bitter substances and flavonoids.
