Description
Horse Chestnut Spray
The most important constituents of horse chestnut include triterpene glycosides, flavonoids, coumarins and fatty oils. The triterpene saponin aescin is particularly responsible for the vein-strengthening properties. Complaints such as heavy legs, swelling and resulting pain in the legs are typical signs of venous insufficiency. Due to the astringent effect, horse chestnut seeds have also proven effective in cases of diarrhea.
